Topical aqueous cleaning solution containing 2 % chlorhexidine gluconate. Provides broad-spectrum antiseptic or antimicrobial activity. May be used to treat superficial cuts, abrasions or insect stings. Also used as a navel disinfectant (dip solution) by diluting with sterile water. Chlorhexidine solution is also used as part of the protocol to clean and disinfect artificial vagina liners.
