591B Densimeter
The 591B Densimeter with the Industry Chicken calibration is designed to quickly and accurately estimate sperm concentration.
It provides simple, on screen instructions for concentration analysis. The Industry Chicken calibration allows the user to enter total extended semen volume, dose concentration, and viability. Using these values, the 591B Sperm
calculates the total concentration of the extended semen, the total number of available doses, and the dose volume per hen. This information may then be stored under Rooster Name / ID for future reference.
A more complex
research calibration is also available upon request. The research calibration has all the features of the Industry Chicken calibration with the addition of a Percent Transmission value. It also notes the total amount of
extender added to the collection.
The Chicken Sperm Counter kit includes the 591B Densimeter, Industry Chicken calibration, and all equipment and supplies for the first 100 tests. For labs wishing to have several
counters running at the same time and share test components, the Densimeter is also available for purchase without the Peripheral Kit.
